Strange Attractors

Advertise | AdChoices

In honor of the LHC at CERN bringing about the end of the universe...

Little Hadronic Couplets

Up 'til now we've not gone,
Down into a black hole.

They say, last time's a Charm,
And BOOM, now we're all Strange.

Bottom line's no Beauty,
Truth was once at the Top.

A little Quarkary. © 2008 Chris from MN

Because there aren't enough poems about quantum physics and quarks.

p.s.
(If the mud isn't transparent, the Wikipedia Quarks entry might help.)

@!$%# yeah! Keep them going dude.
Writing poetry about something as dense as quantum physics is tough to get a handle on.
Creativity in a structured environment. Like making a bridge beautiful.

Thanks! I think one of the inspiraton particles sleeting through the universe passed through my brain and fired up a few neurons.

Charmingly strange?

I may change between plain, muon and tau,.. but I'm always a Nutrinio.

Ahhh... Always delightful to see a witty exchange between some of my favorite fellow Hexagonal Pegs.

Friends, we're in good company amongst ourselves. It's the rest of the world that's strange. ;oD

I keep telling people that....and they keep looking at me funny. C'est la vie, I suppose.... :)

Well,... let's face it, there's bosons and fermions. Some folks just don't have the full spin on things.

The force is on our side, we're not exclusionary and we've got the whole spin!

Go Bosons!

Normality, bah. Tried it one summer. Didn't really care for it.

I'm still tangled up in the knots in my String Theory -- help!!
But maybe I can still whip out a Hadronic Haiku. Ahem.

Black and white collide
As twilight charms autumn leaves.
Fall in strange black hole.
